This Skirted Doublet was based off of pattern 133 from Burguen MS

one of the main purpose for this doublet is where while fighting, it was drafted to fit over my gambson. Also I choose to go with more of a bent style doublet sleeve instead of the one in the pattern. I have had experience with the bent style sleeve in a fighting cote before, and was more comfortable going with a known sleeve design. also the sleeves are drafted to fit comfortably over my vanbraces and elbow cops, that is why the sleeve cuff is large

one more thing that effected the design, is that the barony I live in (The Barony of Three Rivers), Arms are Per chevron inverted wavy argent and vert, a pall wavy azure, fimbriated argent, surmounted by a laurel wreath Or. I decided to reflect this into the coat
